If you're a pet person like me, and seen people get the wrong stuff in petstores, have you ever said something to them? For example, I saw a lady getting pine bedding and she was wondering what the difference between Aspen and pine wood shavings were. She asked a worker, first mistake. Never ask workers. Their information is false because its very outdated (most of the time). In the end she got pine, which is unsafe whereas aspen is perfectly fine. I use it for Mochi's litter. I want to say something, but I'm too scared to approach a stranger and think that I'm just a little kid. I've experience this feeling twice. This lady had a very small cage and was getting a hamster. Even the worker said that its a "little" small.
If you experience this, and know that you can say something, DO IT. I regret it every time. Just think that you could save an animal's life.
I might start a hamster care section. Spread the word. Even if one person learns something, I would be very pleased.
